Maize is a new addition to the restaurant scene in historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood in downtown Cincinnati.

All of the dough in the restaurant is made from maize, which means corn in the Spanish language.  Being the first Venezuelan restaurant in downtown Cincinnati I choose to brand Maize by using icons that not only showed the cultural but familiarized the audience with the names and food.  This approach allows the potential customer to feel comfortable and get excited about trying something new.
